Professional Background
LicensureWashington, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LH61373517
Education
Multnomah University, Master of Arts, Masters of Arts in Counseling, 2015 — I completed my Masters of Arts in Counseling.
Work HistoryWith experience at Lutheran Community Services and Kindering,I have worked extensively with diverse individuals and families navigating complex life experiences. My background includes supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, immigrants and first-generation individuals, and families adjusting to acculturation, parenting challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. These roles deepened my commitment to culturally responsive, trauma- informed care and strengthened my understanding of how identit, culture and systemic experiences shape mental health and relationships. In my private practice, I focus primarily on LGBTQIA+ clients, including individuals exploring later-in-life coming out experiences and identity integration. I also work closely with immigrants and bicultural individuals navigating identity deconstruction, belonging, and cultural transitions. Additionally, I support adults facing anxiety, depression, and significant life changes such as career shifts, relationship transitions, or parenting adjustments. I continue to work with couples, helping partners strengthen communication, recognize attachment patterns, and build more secure, connected relationships while navigating parenting and family dynamics. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in curiosity and compassion. I aim to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
