Education
Washington Adventist University, Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Psychology, 2019
Work HistoryLicensed in MD, I received my MA degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Psychology from Washington Adventist University. Through my decade of experience, I have developed my craft of connecting and progressing with young adults and adults working through bipolar, anxieties, self-image and self-harm, mood, and relationship/couples experiences. As an eclectic counselor, I integrate elements from Person-centered, CBT, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as utilizing Emotionally-focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). I believe that together, insight into one’s mental health can be fostered through learning, and healthy change can be realized through guidance. Clients can discover that I see every person I work with as a unique, resilient individual and someone I may get to know and grow with. They can learn that simply being present, actively listening, and earning trust is vital to utilizing techniques during the counseling process.
