Aqueelah Wheatley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes in challenging her clients to rediscover themselves through a lens of enhanced introspection, self-worth, and revived motivation. Aqueelah empowers clients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mood/behavioral disorders. In addition, Aqueelah works with couples and families to find their love language and grow through constructive and meaningful conflict resolution. Aqueelah's client population consists of adults, couples, and families. Aqueelah graduated from Capella University with a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Social Psychology Ph.D. candidate at Walden University. Aqueelah’s training and experience have opened opportunities for her to partner with diverse clientele, utilizing both systemic and evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Aqueelah’s goal is to walk alongside her clients as they journey and explore new perspectives and unlock new stages of change.
