Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I’ve struggled with anxiety myself and have been in therapy in the past. That experience really changed my life. For the first time, I felt truly understood and supported in a way I hadn’t before. Therapy helped me see myself and the world differently. It gave me tools, perspective, and a deeper sense of confidence.
My own therapist had such a meaningful impact on me that it inspired me to become a psychologist. I know how powerful it is to sit across from someone who genuinely gets you. I hope to offer other women that same kind of space one where they feel safe, understood, and able to grow in ways they might not have thought were possible.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I show up as myself in the therapy room. That means I’m warm, engaged, and (I like to think) pretty funny. I can be a little sassy at times in a loving way, and I believe therapy can be both deep and human.
I’m not a blank-slate therapist who just stares, nods, and says, “How does that make you feel?” I’m active, real, and present. I’ll sit with you in the hard moments, but I’ll also challenge you, laugh with you, and help you see things from new angles.

Work HistoryI began my career working in a residential setting with individuals diagnosed with PTSD, supporting those impacted by combat trauma and childhood abuse. I later transitioned into outpatient PTSD clinics, where I treated individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and anxiety stemming from childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and combat exposure.
I also spent part of my career in clinics specializing in women’s mental health, helping women navigate anxiety, trauma, and complex life stressors. For the past four years, I worked in a trauma-focused clinic, deepening my expertise in evidence-based trauma treatment.
Over the past year, I made the decision to open my own private practice. I wanted the freedom to practice in a way that aligns with my professional values, offering longer-term care, greater flexibility, and a more human-centered approach than hospital systems often allow. My goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized treatment where clients feel genuinely seen, supported, and respected throughout their healing process.
