Education
University of Colorado Denver, Master of Arts, Education and Human Development, 2020
Wesleyan University, Master of Arts, Psychology, 2017
Work HistoryI began my professional career as a middle school math teacher in a small, community-oriented K-12 school. While I enjoyed teaching middle school math content, I realized over time that I valued the relational aspects of teaching more than the educational side. I discovered that my favorite part of my job was serving as a trusted adult for students who often needed help navigating the chaos of middle school. At the end of the 2024 school year, I made the difficult decision to leave teaching in order to begin a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, a field that I felt would more closely align with my natural skills and passions.
