In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My personal experiences have shaped my journey to become a therapist. I lost my brother as a child and it ignited a passion within me to help others through difficult life circumstances and trauma. Everyone deserves to have someone to support them through life's toughest moments.
What does a first session with you look like?
I will explain the important aspects of therapy such a confidentiality, and make sure to answer any questions or concerns you have. Next, I will ask about your goals for therapy and discuss how will work towards that goal. After that, I will ask you a series of questions to get to know you and the important relationships and experiences in your life. I will be sure to check in with you periodically to ensure you are comfortable and address any concerns you have.
