Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I want to help you navigate your emotional journey towards well-being and personal growth. You may have felt like a "black sheep"- different from others, neurodivergent, unconventional, outside the norm, quirky, on the edge, or even a bit rebellious. Or you may be someone who has followed a more direct route in the past, and now find yourself dealing with the twists and turns of life transitions. I am here to help guide you on your unique path.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use evidence-based techniques, like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to empower you to identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns, leading to healthier behaviors and emotions. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), existential-humanistic therapy, and narrative therapy are some other approaches I integrate for your personalized, holistic journey.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I have a passion for healing, and helping you improve your well-being. I want to provide a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your challenges, uncover your strengths, and work towards meaningful change. I have a warm and conversational approach- I am definitely not a "blank slate" therapist! Let's take the next steps towards a brighter future.
