Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
As a therapist who lives with ADHD, I understand firsthand what it feels like to struggle academically, to feel overwhelmed by school systems, and to navigate a world that isn't always built for neurodivergent brains. Because of my own journey, I don’t look at your child or your family through a textbook lens—I look at you with genuine, lived empathy. There is absolutely no judgment in my session room. Second, I don’t position myself as the "all-knowing expert" who is here to fix your family. Instead, I view our work as a true partnership. I walk right alongside you and collaborate with your family to find highly creative, customized solutions that fit your real, daily life. You are the expert on yourself, your child and your family while I can tailor, interventions, routines and resources, and educate on school systems, learning disabilities and solutions that can help you and your family thrive.
We will work together as a team to address:
School & Academic Struggles: Finding alternative organizational hacks, tackling school anxiety, and navigating IEP supports.
Home Routines & Conflict: Reducing daily friction, cooling down big behavioral outbursts, and restoring peace to your household.
Major Life Transitions: Helping your child or teenager adapt to moves, family changes, new cultures, coming out or new school environments.
Neurodivergent Family Dynamics: Helping you understand how your child's brain works so you can parent with more confidence and less exhaustion.
Every child and household is unique. Together, we will skip the rigid, one-size-fits-all advice and build practical tools that actually work for your family's specific dynamic.

Work HistoryI am a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience helping children, teenagers, and parents navigate life’s challenges. My practice is dedicated to supporting busy families, neurodivergent individuals (including ADHD and autism), and parents looking for practical, positive tools to help their households thrive.
Whether your child is struggling with big emotions, navigating a new school setup, or processing a difficult life event, I provide a warm, collaborative space where your family can find its footing.
Raising a child with unique learning differences or neurodivergent needs requires specialized care. I partner closely with parents to build clear household routines, reduce daily friction, and celebrate your child's natural strengths. Here are the primary ways we can work together:
I use creative, child-centered play to help kids ages 5 and up express themselves, build emotional control, and develop strong social skills.
I specialize in gentle, proven strategies that help children and families heal together after stressful or overwhelming life events.
I offer actionable coaching for parents navigating the unique joys and challenges of raising children with special needs or behavioral hurdles.
As a native English and fully bilingual Spanish speaker, I provide culturally welcoming care tailored to immigrant and bicultural families.
My clinical background spans schools and specialized agency settings, giving me a deep understanding of the systems your child navigates daily.
School & System Advocacy: With years of experience as a school-based social worker, and case manager for immigrant families, I understand the ins and outs of IEPs, school enrollment, and educational support systems. I can help you confidently advocate for the resources your child deserves at school.
Crisis Support & Safety: I have extensive experience helping families navigate high-stress life transitions and crisis moments with safety and stability.
Clinical Excellence: I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Northeastern Illinois University and maintain specialized certifications in crisis intervention and trauma care for bicultural families.
As an online therapist, I know how hard it is to balance school, work, and afternoon activities. I purposely offer flexible early morning and late evening session slots. This allows your child to attend therapy without missing school, and lets you access parenting support after the workday is done.
I look forward to partnering with your family to bring more peace, clarity, and confidence to your daily life.
