Work HistoryI have gained valuable experience working in clinical settings with school-based children, youths, and families, with an emphasis on the special education field. I also have experience working with adults and children in a residential substance abuse treatment center and have served as the Program Director in an adult residential eating disorder facility, providing therapy to clients with co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, severe mental health, grief and loss, personality disorders, and bipolar disorder. Throughout my therapy career, I have been interested in exploring the depths and complexities of couples and became trained in using Gottman Method for couples therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples in crisis in my therapy work. I also specialize in treating patients with OCD using Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). I teach clients how to manage intrusive thoughts and compulsions. For OCD clients I hold individual sessions and couples sessions, as OCD symptoms can greatly impact the self as well as all relationships.
