Work HistoryGreetings! I am so glad you are here and exploring participating in therapy services. My name is Brianna, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College and have been in the therapy field for the last 9 years. I work with Children, Adolescents and Adults as well as families and specialize in treating Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Trauma, Mood/ Behavior, and Family Systems work. I often use Narrative Therapy, ACT and Trauma Informed- CBT approaches with my clients as well as Art and creativity. I take an individualized approach with each client or family, and strongly believe in forming a strong base of trust and transparency with all of my clients. We will work collaboratively to tailor sessions to your needs and goals, placing high importance on openness, stability, and authenticity in the therapy relationship at all times. In our early sessions together we will spend ample time getting to know more about you, your values, and goals for therapy. We will then dive into working on helping you explore any underlying roots to the challenges you have been experiencing, as well as learn and practice practical tools and strategies to create true and lasting change in your daily life. You will leave sessions feeling empowered and with a sense of hope and greater self confidence.
