What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I take an active, collaborative approach to therapy. You won’t just sit and talk about what’s bothering you—we’ll work together to identify practical skills and strategies you can start using right away. I’ll often give you tools or techniques to try between sessions, and then we’ll review how they went. This gives us real feedback and “data” to work with so we can see what’s helping, what needs adjusting, and where you’re making progress.
My style is direct but supportive—I’ll be honest with you about what I see, and I’ll also make sure you feel encouraged and understood along the way. The goal is for you to leave each session with something tangible you can use in your life, so you’re not just feeling better in the moment, but building lasting skills for the future.
If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
In the movie Miracle, there’s a famous moment when coach Herb Brooks tells his team, “Great moments are born from great opportunity.” That line has always stuck with me because it’s exactly how I view the challenges we face in life. The things that make us anxious, push us out of our comfort zone, or even the feedback we’d rather not hear—those moments are opportunities for growth.
In therapy, I help clients approach those moments with curiosity instead of fear. Whether it’s practicing a new skill, facing a difficult conversation, or sitting with an uncomfortable emotion, we treat it as a chance to learn something important about yourself and move forward stronger than before.

Work HistoryI’ve spent my career helping people find relief from anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and the stress that comes with navigating major life changes. I started out working in community mental health, where I supported clients facing a wide range of challenges—often with limited resources—which taught me to be both creative and practical in the ways I help.
From there, I moved into private practice and eventually co-founded Aspire Psychotherapy, where I now serve as Clinical Director. In this role, I provide therapy to adults and adolescents, specializing in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and related disorders, ADHD and executive function challenges, and couples navigating relationship stress. I also conduct comprehensive psychological testing for ADHD, autism, learning differences, and giftedness, helping people finally get clarity after years of uncertainty.
Along the way, I’ve completed advanced training in both evidence-based approaches like CBT and ERP, as well as psychodynamic therapy for deeper, insight-oriented work. I’ve supervised and mentored other therapists, collaborated with medical providers, and worked with clients from many different cultural backgrounds. All of these experiences have shaped the way I practice—balancing proven strategies with warmth, flexibility, and an understanding that every client’s journey is unique.
