Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Working with me feels grounded, collaborative, and real. I’m not a therapist who just nods and takes notes—I’m engaged, I ask thoughtful questions, and I help you make sense of what’s coming up with both compassion and clarity. I show up as a human first, therapist second, which means our work will feel warm, supportive, and genuinely connected.
I’m gentle, but I’m also honest. If something needs to be named, I’ll help you name it in a way that feels safe and empowering. My role isn’t to fix you—it’s to help you understand your patterns, strengthen your internal resources, and create change that lasts outside the therapy room.
I value humor, authenticity, and making sure you never feel judged for what you’re carrying. You’ll always set the pace, and I’ll meet you exactly where you are while also helping you move forward with intention.
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
My life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap in a simple but important way: I believe people do best when they feel understood, supported, and empowered to make choices that fit who they are—not who they “should” be. In my own life, I value slowing down, tuning inward, and making space for the full range of emotions, and that’s exactly how I show up in the therapy room.
I don’t believe in pushing people through change before they’re ready. I believe in helping you build insight, compassion for yourself, and the confidence to move through transitions at a pace that feels doable. Both personally and professionally, I see growth as something that happens in small, intentional steps, not in perfect leaps.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality naturally shapes how I show up as a therapist. I’m calm, steady, and grounded, which helps clients feel safe enough to explore the parts of themselves that feel tender or overwhelming. I’m also genuinely curious and engaged—I ask thoughtful questions, I pay attention to patterns, and I make space for humor and realness when it fits.
I’m not a strict, stoic therapist. I’m warm, I’m present, and I bring a gentle but honest energy into the room. That balance allows me to support you without sugarcoating, and challenge you without ever making you feel judged.

Work HistoryMy work has always centered around helping people feel a little more grounded and a lot less alone. Over the years, I’ve supported clients through some of life’s biggest turning points—pregnancy and postpartum, the transition to college or a new career, navigating a move to a new state, or simply finding your footing in a season that feels unfamiliar or overwhelming. I’m drawn to these in-between spaces where identity shifts, responsibilities change, and emotions often feel louder than usual.
Working with new and expecting parents has given me a deep respect for how layered these transitions can be. I’ve spent countless hours supporting people through the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood—the messy middle where stress rises, roles shift, and relationships sometimes feel strained. Collaborating closely with lactation consultants, nutrition experts, and birth providers taught me how deeply connected emotional and physical wellbeing truly are, and those experiences shaped my specialty in perinatal mental health.
But my work extends far beyond the postpartum period. I also work with students stepping into independence for the first time, professionals navigating career changes, and individuals or couples adjusting to a new city, new community, or new chapter of life. I’ve seen how these transitions can stir up anxiety, uncertainty, and self-doubt, and I’ve learned how powerful it can be to have someone in your corner during the shift.
Whether someone is becoming a parent, starting college, rebuilding after burnout, or settling into a new home, my approach remains the same: warm, honest, and focused on helping you make sense of what you’re feeling so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
