Professional Background
LicensureCalifornia, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, 145479California, Music Therapist-Board Certified, 11672
Work HistoryI started my career as a Board Certified Music Therapist in 2015. My primary experience for 8 years was working with individuals, couples, and families facing end of life anxieties, chronic illnesses, and grief. After 4 years, I decided to pursue a license in Marriage and Family Therapy, obtaining my M.A. in Counseling at Palo Alto University. This deepened my understanding of family work and the impact of systems on mental health, relational dynamics, coping, and meaning. My experiences expanded to include school counseling, neurodiversity-affirming practices, LGBTQ+ youth, and parent coaching. I utilize a holistic perspective that recognizes how physical and emotional health impact each other. I offer "walk and talk" sessions. My specialties include creative and mindfulness-based approaches that are influenced by a range of theoretical orientations such as relational, existential, multicultural, and humanistic perspectives to mental wellness.
