Work HistoryI am an LCSW with 11 years of experience as a therapist and 21 years as a social worker in the mental health and medical fields. I’ve worked with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, medical professionals, and those navigating anxiety, depression and trauma. My therapeutic approach is rooted in partnership, with a focus on growth and healing. I believe people are more than their diagnoses, and I strive to help clients move beyond societal “shoulds” to explore their personal “coulds.” I take a body-positive, sex-positive, and whole-person-affirming approach, with building trust and safety as my highest priority. Specializing in complex trauma and anxiety, I support individuals in reconnecting with what makes them uniquely themselves. We will work on identifying your values, needs and boundaries so you can move forward in a way that is true to what's most important to you. In recent years, many of my clients have expressed feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and alone. We all need support at times, and though reaching out can be challenging, you are worth it. If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out—I make it a priority to respond to everyone.
