Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I chose to become a social worker because I was always interested in understanding others and found that people tended to gravitate towards me for advice and guidance even when I was younger. I make sure that people feel comfortable confiding in me and they will not be judged. I want people to feel seen and understood.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I really enjoy what I do and it is important that my clients see and feel that. I try to make the sessions enjoyable through humor and a bit of sarcasm. I find that human relaxes clients as well and it doesn't mean that the concerns that are brought to the table aren't serious but my motto is to enjoy the process and therapy is just that, a process.
