Education
Southern New Hampshire University, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Master of Arts Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2023 — During my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University, I completed advanced coursework in cognitive-behavioral interventions, trauma-informed practice, and lifespan development. My graduate work included applied training in case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, and skills development for both individual and couples counseling. This program strengthened my ability to understand how thoughts, emotions, and behavior interact, which now forms the foundation of the work I do with clients.
Work HistoryIt’s disorienting when you realize you’re no longer responding to life the way you used to. Many people come to therapy in that gap between how they want to live and how they’re feeling, and that point of discomfort is what led me to this work. My clinical path began at Southern New Hampshire University, where I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2023. As a CPC-Intern, I work with preteens, teens, adults, and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, communication struggles, and relationship strain. Working with individuals and couples has given me a deeper understanding of how personal history and relational patterns shape daily life. In therapy, I focus on helping clients recognize the thoughts and emotions that are steering their behavior. I often use cognitive-behavioral approaches to clarify unhelpful thinking patterns, and with couples, I draw from the Gottman Method to strengthen communication and rebuild connection.
