Work HistoryFor the last 10 years, I’ve worked in human resources at non-profit, corporate, and global social change organizations helping to foster safe and inclusive work environments and supporting employees in their professional development and beyond. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized the growing need for mental health support amongst employees, as we (myself included!) were struggling to balance the stressors of work, relationships, a changing world, grief, and the myriad of issues each person was carrying, processing, and struggling to cope with during a time of profound uncertainty. It was then that I made the decision to pursue the path of psychotherapy so that I could more holistically and effectively support people through these challenges. I received my clinical training at Fordham University and Jewish Family and Children’s Services. Between my years of experience in human resources and my clinical social work training, I have developed expertise working with work-related stress, burnout, career transitions and/or retirement, stress management, self-esteem, perfectionism, life transitions, young adulting, self-identity development, chronic pain, climate anxiety, grief and loss, and relationships and dating. I have primarily worked with adults and young adults (18 - 24 years old), and also have experience working with elders and the Jewish community.
