Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist comes from my own experiences with mental health challenges as a child. I know firsthand how isolating it can feel to struggle and not feel understood. This inspired me to become a therapist so I could help others feel seen, heard, and less alone on their journey. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can process their experiences, build coping skills, and find hope and empowerment.
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My personal experiences with past mental health challenges help me approach therapy with empathy and understanding. I know what it feels like to carry emotions silently and to feel disconnected from support. This perspective informs my work with clients, allowing me to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can explore their thoughts and feelings, feel validated, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges with more confidence and self-compassion.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Working together means moving at a pace that feels right for you. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, EMDR-trained lens and combine reflective conversation with practical tools to help you feel grounded, build self-trust, and navigate life’s challenges. Therapy is a collaborative process—you set the goals, and I guide and support you along the way. This space is safe, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping you feel seen, understood, and empowered.
