What is your style/approach to therapy?
You don’t have to have things figured out before coming to therapy. Simply showing up as you are is more than enough.
I approach counseling from a person-centered and relational perspective, which means I care deeply about meeting each client with curiosity, empathy, and respect for their unique story. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling overwhelmed, therapy can be a place where you feel less alone and where healing and new understanding can begin to unfold.
I believe counseling works best within a genuine, caring relationship. My style is warm, relational, and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly understood. Many people come to therapy carrying things they have had to hold alone for a long time. My hope is that our work together becomes a place where you can slow down, feel met with compassion, and begin making sense of what you’ve been going through.
My work is grounded in a deep respect for the dignity and worth of every person. I have also spent time serving in the special needs community as a caregiver for individuals with disabilities and through organizations such as Best Buddies and Special Olympics, experiences that strengthened my commitment to inclusion, respect, and honoring each person’s story. For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate Christian faith alongside evidence-informed psychological care. I welcome people of all backgrounds and beliefs and aim to create a counseling space where you feel respected, cared for, and supported as you move toward your goals, your healing, and your growth.
