Get To Know Me
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
At CFR, our life philosophy is about striking a balance in order to move forward. We apply the same philosophy to treatment. We help our patients try to find a balance in their belief systems, life narratives, and healing process so that they can move forward in life.
If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel VanderKolk is a very informative book that has helped to guide all of our conceptualizations of our patients. Through the lens of this book, we are always able to understand our patients emotions, reactions, and beliefs as being a product of their life experiences. We are able to always see our patients through a compassionate and supportive perspective.
