Get To Know Me
Were there lessons in your professional or academic career that left an impression on you, and how has that informed your work today?
One of the most lasting lessons from my professional journey is that therapy only works when it’s rooted in genuine care. I don’t do this work just because it’s my profession—I do it because I truly care about the people I meet. I listen deeply and make every effort to support my clients in meaningful ways. My goal in this world is to make it a little bit better, one person and one small step at a time. I believe that even the smallest moments of understanding and connection can create lasting change.
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel scary. Taking that first step and allowing yourself to be vulnerable isn’t easy—I feel that too, even when I reach out for support. It takes courage to start searching and reading about therapy, and I truly admire that effort.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. Just reaching out is already a meaningful step forward. I’m here to listen, to support you, and to walk alongside you as you move through this process. You’re not alone in this.

Education
Seattle University, Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health, 2025
Work HistoryBefore becoming a mental health counselor, I worked for many years as a school psychologist, supporting children, families, and educators through challenging situations. That experience taught me how deeply our early relationships and environments shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others.
In my current work, I draw on that foundation to support adults navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I’ve spent years helping clients make sense of loss, rebuild after difficult experiences, and reconnect with what truly matters to them. My approach blends compassion with practical tools—helping clients both understand their emotions and create meaningful change in their lives.
As an immigrant and mother, I also understand firsthand the complexity of adapting to new roles, cultures, and seasons of life. These experiences inform my perspective and help me create a space that feels grounded, understanding, and real.
