Education
Northwest Nazarene University, Master of Science in Counseling, Clinical Counseling, 2023
The Clinical Mental Health Counseling masters program I completed at Northwest Nazarene University is a CACREP accredited program. During my studies I completed internship hours towards licensure at two locations, a partial hospitalization program for teens and a nonprofit for individuals who experienced domestic violence or any form of abuse. I gained experience in individual, family, and group counseling with teenagers and a wide age range of male and female identifying adults.
Work History
I've worked with teens and adults, primarily with those who have experienced domestic violence and/or abuse and suicidal ideations. I have conducted individual, family, and group therapy and have worked in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient facilities. I've encountered individuals who have endured many forms of trauma and have seen incredible growth from these clients in reducing the painful symptoms that they were experiencing as a result.
