Education
Biola University Rosemead School of Psychology, Doctorate of Philosophy, Clinical Psychology, 2014 — Completed a Masters and Doctorate program with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology. Research and dissertation focused on the division of household labor, focusing on Asian American couples. Completed predoctoral internship in community mental health and postdoctoral internship in university mental health.
Work HistoryI have been serving individuals in private practice since 2017 and have enjoyed the freedom to provide support and journey alongside people without limitations to time. Though many people look for quick fixes and fast healing, growth and change can take time, and private practice affords me the opportunity to walk alongside individuals towards lasting change. Additionally, working with college students during my postdoc, community mental health during pre-doc, and growing up 2nd generation Asian American has given me a wealth of experience and compassion for the various elements and barriers of life that contribute to why we are the way we are, and how to break cycles and patterns.
