Education
University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Master of Social Work, 2022
Work HistoryMy journey as a therapist began with a deep curiosity about what helps people feel safe enough to heal and grow. After earning my Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2022, I knew I wanted to create spaces where clients could explore their authentic selves. I've spent my career working with individuals navigating some of life's most challenging experiences—trauma, complex mental health conditions, and the ongoing work of understanding one's identity and values. Much of my expertise in trauma-informed care developed through supporting clients who were healing from domestic violence and PTSD. These experiences taught me that healing doesn't follow a linear path, and that my role is to walk alongside clients at whatever pace feels right for them. My work with LGBTQ+ clients has been particularly meaningful to me. I've supported individuals exploring their sexuality, gender identity, and relationship structures, always from a place of affirmation and celebration of who they are. This work deepened my understanding of how important it is for therapy to be a place where all parts of someone's identity can exist freely. I've also developed specialized experience working with people managing conditions like OCD, dissociative disorders, and borderline personality disorder. My job is to help clients understand these patterns with compassion and develop new tools when the old ones no longer serve them. Throughout my practice, I've learned that the most powerful therapy happens when we can be curious together about what makes you uniquely you, and what you need to build a life that feels authentic and meaningful. If you're looking for a therapist who will honor your pace and celebrate your authentic self, you can reach me through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976.
