In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
My life philosophy and approach to therapy are grounded in the same core belief: people deserve access to care, dignity, and support within systems that often fall short. I view mental health care as a human right and see my role as both a clinician and advocate. I believe healing happens in context, so I consider how systems, relationships, and environments shape your experiences. I’m also committed to ongoing self-reflection and growth, using myself intentionally in the work. This allows me to show up with authenticity, while supporting both personal healing and broader empowerment.
What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?
I believe one of the biggest barriers to care is representation. This includes finding a therapist who feels like the right fit. Many people struggle to find someone who understands their cultural background, lived experiences, or identity. When care doesn’t feel relevant, it can be hard to reach out at all. Expanding representation in mental health care is essential to making support truly available to everyone.

Work HistoryMy experience comes from working closely with people navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and overwhelming life experiences. I’ve supported survivors of abuse and human trafficking, children and families in the foster care system, and individuals facing crisis after disasters. These settings taught me how to create a sense of safety, build trust, and move at a pace that feels right for you. I also understand how systems and life circumstances can impact mental health, so our work will focus not just on symptoms, but on helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and supported in your daily life.
