Get To Know Me
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My own personal postpartum journey during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic shaped my understanding of pregnancy, postpartum and motivates me to support other parents along this journey. I believe that having someone in your village who you can talk to about anything without fear of judgement is essential during such a huge time of life transitions. I use my knowledge, training and experiences to create strong therapeutic alliances so that my client's feel safe to share their experiences with pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal loss, changes in their marriage/partnership, and navigating their new roles.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our sessions we will discuss your personal experiences in your journey, deeply explore your thoughts and feelings, and work on developing new coping strategies to determine what works best for you. I approach our sessions with transparency and work to empower my client's so that you feel confident in this new role. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling revived, refreshed, and restored in your renascence.

Education
University of Southern California, Master of Social Work, Children, Youth, and Families, 2016
Work HistoryI have over 7 years of clinic experience. I started out working with children and adolescents ages 4-19 and their families. I provided individual and family counseling sessions based on the client's presenting needs. I saw clients with a variety of mental health needs but mostly, trauma, depression, and anxiety. After my own postpartum experience, I shifted my focus to providing support to those who are pregnant, postpartum, coping with perinatal loss, and navigating early parenthood. I know how difficult this season of life can be and strive for my clients to feel safe to be vulnerable in sharing their true thoughts and feelings about their experiences. I love working with these clients and being a part of their village of support. I am here to support you and honor your hardships while celebrating your successes.
