Professional Background

Education
University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Master of Social Work, 2022
Work HistoryI've worked with people in the hardest circumstances and I don't scare easily. I am Licensed in Nevada and Virginia. In-person sessions available in Nevada.
For the past six years, I've been in the trenches of Las Vegas providing support to people most therapists never see: those experiencing homelessness, sex workers navigating survival and exploitation, incarcerated individuals trying to find a way forward. I've worked in schools helping kids process trauma and manage behaviors that get them labeled as "problems."
This work taught me something important: people are surviving in ways that make sense given what they're dealing with. My job is to help you build skills that actually work for where you are right now.
I specialize in trauma, mood disorders, and the parenting challenges that come when you're trying to raise kids while dealing with your own stuff. I work with teens, and adults navigating everything from behavioral issues and ADHD to complex trauma, domestic violence, and life after incarceration. If your life doesn't fit into neat categories, that's fine. Most people's don't.
I work from a strength-based perspective because I've seen people survive impossible situations. You have skills you don't even recognize as skills yet. We'll work together to build on what's already working and develop new strategies for what isn't.
I'm allied with sex workers, LGBTQ+ folks, people in non-traditional relationships, and anyone who's been told they're too complicated or too much. If you've been through the system—foster care, incarceration, psychiatric hospitals—I get it. You don't have to explain or justify your life to me.
