What is your style/approach to therapy?

Cheryl uses various modalities for short term therapy including: CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. She also utilizes psychodynamic approaches to help individuals understand how past and current situations may be connected, in order to help them make meaningful changes, to even long term patterns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I have experience in many different settings including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and private practices. I have served many different demographics but am most well versed in treating young adults/adults who suffer from anxiety and depression

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

I believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life that makes them happy, and one way I have expanded on that in my life is community service. Giving back to the community is very important to me, whether it is by volunteering at meal centers, animal shelters, or at community events.
