What is your style/approach to therapy?
My training in CBT and psychodynamic approaches allow me to tailor my work to meet individual needs. I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from children to seniors, across various settings. My primary focus has been with emerging adults—especially those navigating mood disorders, anxiety, and challenges related to life transitions and relationship/family dynamics. I'm committed to ongoing training and growth, ensuring I stay equipped to address the evolving needs in mental health.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each experience is unique, shaped by your individual identity, perspective, and life experiences. No two sessions are the same because I value the collaborative nature of therapy, adjusting each session to what works best for you and your goals. I draw on a variety of approaches for short-term therapy, including CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and I incorporate psychodynamic techniques to help you explore how past and present experiences may be connected, empowering you to make meaningful changes and break long-term patterns. I aim to support you through whatever you may be experiencing, and will hold space for you to grow, explore, and heal.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life that makes them happy, and one way I have expanded on that in my life is community service. Giving back to the community is very important to me, whether it is by volunteering at meal centers, animal shelters, or at community events.
