Work HistoryI am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada, Texas, Utah and Arizona. I started my career assessing people in crisis deciding who needed immediate psychiatric help or medical detox. That background shapes how I work now. I specialize in addiction and substance use, but I also understand the things that often come with it: borderline personality disorder, anger that feels uncontrollable, oppositional behaviors, trauma, and the depression that shows up when you're trying to quit the thing that's been helping you cope. I also work with LGBTQ+ individuals, including those navigating gender dysphoria and transgender identity, as well as people in non-monogamous relationships. I bring a multicultural lens to my work and understand how identity, culture, and systemic barriers affect mental health. I get that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, and what works has to make sense within your cultural context. If you're worried you're too complicated or too much of a mess, you're not. I work with people in complicated situations all the time. If you’d like support, you can reach me through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976.
