Work History
I have worked in the mental health field for 13 years. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to work with people impacted by trauma, including sexual abuse and assault, and domestic violence. I started at a community mental health agency working with all ages and diagnoses to get a strong base for my work with clients. After this, I was asked to return to where I interned, where my heart was. There I focused on clients with sexual assault and domestic violence. Before going back to school for Counseling I worked in victim services at the District Attorney's office in Montgomery, AL.
