In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I believe in connecting with people. Finding our rhythm together in therapy can be very beneficial to the whole process. I will follow your lead and help you feel at ease and comfortable in what can be a vulnerable time.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
Collaboration with other providers is an important aspect of this work. I think it is beneficial to have guidance and a supportive network in any profession. Having a network of trusted professionals can help ensure you have high quality collaborative care if needed.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is to see you as an individual, believe you, and meet you where you are at. I take into consideration the systemic issues you may be facing and am open to discussing these with you to understand your point of view. I am ready to help you explore your needs, identity, and traumas. I have a trauma informed approach so we can take things at your pace and comfort level while still moving towards healing.
