He / Him / His
In Eastern Time
I found myself drawn to the field of therapy as I sought answers for my own trauma from my childhood. Finding healing for myself, I was driven to give back to others - to help them discover how rewarding it can be to "do the work."
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I've learned over the years that the most successful therapy is rooted in authentic relationship, not simply spouting off things you should do/try to "fix" the problem. Coping skills are important to learn and use, but they are not the only thing or we would all just Google "How to ___" instead of finding therapists.

Wheaton College Graduate School, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2016
My earliest clinical work was at a college counseling center where I focused on treating issues of identity development, ADHD/neurodiversity, social anxiety, relationships struggles, perfectionism, family of origin traumas, and other common mental health issues in college life. Following my initial clinical experience, I transitioned to private practice where I spent a few years working primarily with young adults in high school, college, and transitioning out of college. As I gained experience through I my own life journey, my interest over the next few years shifted to the areas of middle life - existential crises, marital challenges/communication, relationship boundaries, work stress/burnout, codependence, and more.
