Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
There was a period of time during my adolescence & young adulthood when I felt very lost in my identity and overwhelmed by many confusing emotions. Through my personal (*ongoing!) work in therapy as well as my professional experience as a psychotherapist, I've learned to appreciate the delicate mystery of human existence and aim to continue to support those who are similarly curious and ready to work on themselves :)
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I have been living with and managing Type 1 Diabetes since 2011 & I love making original music in my free time :)
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
Through my personal experiences in substance use recovery (I haven't consumed alcohol since 2015), ongoing management of my chronic illness (T1D since 2011), and recent insights surrounding my identification of uniquely neurodivergent needs/preferences, I find that I've developed an eclectic and aspirationally boundless sense of compassion for human beings in all walks of life.
