Work HistoryI worked in a lot of settings with a wide variety of types of clients, before setting up a private practice about 20 years ago, and continued to consult and do training at agencies after setting up my practice. That has given me broad experience. I worked in a school setting. I have worked with people with serious psychiatric issues. I have worked in social welfare/ social services, so I have experience with families with substance abuse and domestic violence issues. I trained in family therapy after receiving my MA, and most of my work in agencies revolved around working with families. In my private practice I mostly see couples and individuals. The most common issues that bring people in to see me are relationship issues, depression, and anxiety.
