In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
I believe that no one should go through their hardest chapters of life alone. While acknowledging that rarely can a space be completely safe, I believe deeply that the therapy space should allow clients to feel brave and seen. I am committed to doing my own work and unlearning through consultation, readings, and training to create that space for clients. I believe that therapy can be a space to explore your identity, find healing, process experiences and emotions, and more. I have a history of working in crisis centers, homelessness, family conflict, domestic violence and sexual assault. As a white, cis-female who has survived domestic violence and have a young son as a single mother, healing is deeply personal, as well as professional. My personal and professional values are inextricably intertwined
