Get To Know Me
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My therapy approach is what’s known as “eclectic,” capitalizing on what works best for you from a range of evidence-based skill sets. I'll do my best to give you specific tools you can use now and moving forward.
The goal of our work together will be to guide you in arriving at insight and self-growth; developing strategies and tools that you can use immediately to make desired changes in your life. You and I will define your outcomes and how we’ll get there, so throughout our time together you’ll be able to measure how far you’ve come and know where we’re heading. And if you just need a “place” to be heard, I’m here with you and for you.
What does a first session with you look like?
When we meet, I’ll also do a required, brief assessment that will help to further outline your needs and expectations of services. This guides us in defining a treatment plan and we’ll move forward from there. This is to ensure I’m not only targeting what you need but also, to help you and I begin developing a solid working relationship.
