Education
University of Phoenix, Master of Science in Counseling, Master of Science in Counseling Marriage, Family and Child Therapy, 2013
Work HistoryThere are times in life when the challenges we’ve managed for years begin to feel heavier, and the ways we’ve coped no longer offer the relief they once did. These moments often prompt people to seek therapy, and they are what drew me to this work. I’ve always been interested in how people make sense of their experiences, especially when those experiences begin to shape identity, relationships, and emotional wellbeing in unexpected ways. My path began with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hope International University, followed by a Master of Science in Counseling with a focus on Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix in 2013. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, families, and older adults facing a wide range of emotional and relational concerns—including trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, personality-related difficulties, and the stressors that come with major life transitions. My approach is grounded in Solution-Focused work, CBT, family systems, and structural therapy, allowing me to look at both the immediate concerns and the deeper patterns that shape them.
