Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist grew out of my own experiences seeing how relationships can both wound and heal us. I’ve always been drawn to understanding what helps people feel seen and supported — especially during times when life feels overwhelming or disconnected. Over the years, I witnessed how honest conversations and emotional safety can transform not only individuals but entire relationships. That’s what inspired me to become a marriage and family therapist — to help couples and trauma survivors find clarity, rebuild trust, and create the kind of connection that feels safe and lasting.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and understood, so I work to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused techniques to help you gain insight, build new skills, and create meaningful change in your life and relationships.
What does a first session with you look like?
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. Whether you’re coming in on your own or as a couple, we’ll explore your goals, what’s been feeling difficult, and what you hope to change. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable opening up and begin finding clarity and direction.
