Work HistoryI have worked in the human services field for more than twenty years through public health initiatives, non-profit leadership, missions, and motherhood (my favorite). Over the past seven years I have worked with victim-survivors of trafficking and exploitation as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization in WNC. I currently teach social work and human services at Montreat College and provide outpatient therapy as a LCSWA at A Caring Alternative in Marion, NC. As a therapist, I enjoy using strengths-based approaches with children, youth, and adults to facilitate pathways toward wellbeing. Life can be brutal. The art of healing is turning the brutal into beautiful. I would be glad to come alongside you in your journey.
