In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?

All my life, I have been an empathetic individual. Connecting with others and truly understanding how others feel is my gift. My priority in life, not just in my career, is to create a genuine connection with people; by creating a safe and non-judgmental space for them. I have noticed that this trait has been one of my greatest skills in sessions that allows clients to trust me and allow me to take the lead into their healing journey.

Work History

For the past 4 years, my passion has been working with individuals that have experienced trauma. I have worked to assist people that present extensive emotional distress. My primary focus is on helping individuals find balance and peace after experiencing trauma, navigating through life transitions, unhealthy relationships, or loss and grief. I love to help others feel at peace and whole again. Since 2018, I have been trained to utilize EMDR. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help individuals recover from trauma. I currently focus on providing treatment to adult individuals struggling with stressors wanting to explore their needs and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
