Work HistoryMy name is Diamond L. Haywood, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Associate in North Carolina. I have worked within the fields of Crisis Response, Domestic Violence Shelter Advocacy, Interpersonal Violence Education, and Mental Health since 2019. I utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based, and collaborative practices to help individuals enhance the authenticity of their lives, with a particular focus on educators, healthcare workers, caregivers, leaders, and direct service providers. My approach addresses issues such as burnout, trauma processing, life transitions, and disconnection, while also offering fresh insights for enhanced self-care. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to empower them to identify their desired paths through the development and growth of their skills. Drawing from my experiences in crisis environments, I've supported adolescents and adults in accessing immediate resources and recognizing that the journey following a crisis requires just as much, if not more, support. My approach emphasizes self-love and comfort in one's skin, fosters healthier relationships aligned with personal values, and aids in developing coping skills to manage triggers and emotions without shame.
