Learn more about my:
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I specialize in helping busy adults cut through the ‘fog’—whether it’s stress, difficult situations, or past trauma—to gain clarity and live a life that feels good on the inside, not just one that looks good on the outside. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I respect and honor each person’s unique lived experience, working collaboratively to explore challenges and identify what meaningful change looks like for them. My goal is to support clients in developing greater self-awareness and living a more authentic, fulfilling life.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Well, I surely took the road less traveled. I originally studied Industrial Engineering, but along the way, I realized that it wasn’t my true calling. I had always been drawn to psychology and had a natural inclination for helping others, so I decided to follow my passion. Shifting gears, I went to graduate school and immersed myself in the field of psychology. After a few—okay, many—years of hard work, dedication, and growth, I achieved my dream of becoming a psychologist. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I feel fortunate to do work that aligns with my values and brings meaning to both my life and the lives of my clients.
What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
In my experience, a key component of the therapeutic relationship is trust, built within a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe trust develops when clients feel safe to explore their deepest fears and concerns in a non-judgmental, confidential environment. My goal is to remove any barriers that might hinder progress, allowing clients to engage openly without fear of judgment. This trust creates a foundation for meaningful growth, where clients can reflect, take risks, and embrace change at their own pace. I see my role as a partner in their journey, providing support and guidance while honoring their unique experiences and personal goals.
