Education
University of North Texas, Doctorate of Philosophy, Psychology, 2009 — I have specialties and expertise of training in eating disorders, psychological testing, neuropsychology and pediatrics (though I work across the lifespan). My research, training, and years of clinical experience revolve around these areas of expertise.
Work HistoryI have 15+ years of experience in research and treatment of eating disorders, including development and oversight of some of the most well-known centers nationally, which organically led to the development of my own strengths-based/evidence-based practice in 2022. Though I am a psychologist first, I do also practice as a PMHNP-BC under a fantastic psychiatrist, so contacting our practice means you can get everything you need in one space - therapy, medication and assessment if needed! In addition, I am also a school psychologist and expert in psychological testing of personality, learning disabilities, gifted testing, autism testing (using ADOS gold standard), ADHD, and neuropsychological testing). My team currently consists of a board-certified DBT therapist and a CBT-Insomnia (gold standard) therapist and if I am not the right person, I can help you get to them instead. I also am highly featured in the media as an expert across many areas of psychology and love to help people find help!
