Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Working with me means having a safe, affirming space where you don’t have to filter or hide parts of yourself. I specialize in EMDR therapy for women facing anxiety, imposter syndrome, and burnout, as well as therapists and healers carrying the weight of vicarious trauma. Whether you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by stress, or held back by past experiences, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move at a pace that feels right. My role is to listen deeply, provide support without judgment, and guide you in using EMDR and other tools to heal. Together, we’ll work toward relief from anxiety and trauma, greater self-confidence, and the clarity you need to thrive in both your personal and professional life.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
Collaboration is an important part of the way I work. Healing is rarely one-dimensional, so I often partner with primary care doctors, psychiatrists, and other mental health providers to make sure clients receive the most comprehensive care possible. In my role as an EMDR consultant and trauma therapist, I also collaborate with therapists who are pursuing EMDR training and certification. For clients, this means that your care is informed by a broad network of expertise while still being personalized to your needs. With your consent, I maintain communication with your other providers to ensure consistency, reduce gaps in treatment, and support your overall well-being. My goal is to create a seamless, supportive environment where every aspect of your mental health is honored and cared for.

Education
Oral Roberts University , Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2011 — During my graduate training, I specialized in trauma-focused counseling and women’s mental health. My coursework and clinical training emphasized both evidence-based interventions and holistic care. I was active in research groups exploring the integration of faith, resilience, and trauma recovery, and my clinical practicum gave me direct experience supporting adults, teens, and families through complex life transitions.
EMDRIA Certified Therapist™
Completed advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a leading treatment for trauma, anxiety, and PTSD. This certification recognizes my competence in using EMDR to help clients reprocess distressing memories and reduce symptoms.
EMDRIA Approved Consultant™
In addition to working with clients, I provide consultation for other therapists pursuing EMDR certification. This role allows me to mentor clinicians, stay current with the latest trauma therapy research, and continuously refine my expertise.
Work HistoryFor more than a decade, I’ve helped adults, women, and therapists find relief from trauma, anxiety, grief, and burnout. My career began in community counseling and private practice, where I supported clients facing difficult transitions, relationship struggles, and overwhelming stress. Over time, I became deeply drawn to EMDR therapy for trauma recovery, which has proven life-changing for clients working through PTSD, medical trauma, and painful past experiences. Today, I specialize in virtual therapy across Florida and North Carolina, offering accessible support for women navigating imposter syndrome, high-functioning anxiety, and burnout, as well as therapists and healers carrying vicarious trauma. In addition to my client work, I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ and Approved Consultant™, training and mentoring other clinicians in EMDR. This balance of clinical practice and consultation keeps my work grounded, compassionate, and current. If you’re ready to feel lighter, calmer, and more confident, I’d love to help you take the next step.
