What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

As a therapist, I’m committed to helping you navigate the complexities of healing in a way that feels authentic to you. My approach is grounded in respect for the individual, and a belief that true healing happens when we challenge societal and our own personal narratives. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people in the eating disorder field, and what I’ve seen time and time again is that the people who are struggling often don’t fit into the narrow image we’ve been taught to expect. That’s why I’m deeply committed to supporting those whose pain often goes unnoticed. While eating disorders are an area of focus in my work, I also work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of challenges—whether it’s trauma, perfectionism, body image concerns, identity exploration, codependency, or navigating life’s big transitions. I use an integrative and humanistic approach to therapy, meaning I combine a deep respect for your individuality with practical tools and therapeutic insights. I believe in seeing you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms, and creating a space where you can feel truly heard and understood. My approach blends techniques like somatic practices, mindfulness, and behavioral strategies with a strong emphasis on empathy, self-compassion, and personal growth. My goal is to help you build a more compassionate relationship with yourself, release shame, and move forward from a place of clarity where you’re able to meet yourself with kindness. Along with eating disorders, I work closely with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. I understand the unique struggles that can come with navigating gender identity and expression, and I am committed to providing a space where queer and trans individuals feel truly supported. In our work together, I am here to listen, understand, and create a safe space. My job is to help you discover and understand what you uncover. There is no correct timeline for growth or healing. If you’re ready to explore, heal, and grow, I’d love to work with you.
