Work HistoryWelcome! I have helped many clients manage and overcome symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD-both big T and little t trauma including childhood abuse and neglect. My work tends to address the healing of the nervous system, which has an impact on mental and physical health. I provide tools for resourcing as well as using somatic and relational psychology to heal attachment wounds and provide deeper levels of intimacy with self and other. Holistic healing has been a calling and a passion of mine for most of my life. After training in numerous healing modalities, I decided to get my Master's in Counseling Psychology. I was drawn into the work as a means to understand myself and my own family system, as well as other people in my life. My emphasis was in Depth Psychology, including the study of the unconscious. the body, dreamwork, and healing through relationships. Continuing that, I have worked with other practitioners to increase my understanding of the nervous system and the ways in which that impacts our mental health. I use somatic (body-oriented) tools and resourcing to help my clients manage symptoms and I use relational psychotherapy, working in the here-and-now, to create actual change in one's system. I have seen this work heal time and time again and I am truly amazed by it. It is very meaningful to be a part of your journey, and help you find peace, confidence, and overall health and well-being in your body and in your life.
