What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own life experiences and a deep understanding of how challenging it can be to navigate the world when things don’t feel straightforward or easy. Because of my own life circumstances and neurodivergence, I learned early on how important it is to feel truly understood, supported, and not judged when you’re struggling.
I became a therapist because I wanted to offer the kind of space I once needed—one where people feel safe to be themselves, ask questions, and make sense of their experiences at their own pace. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to manage emotions, relationships, expectations, or transitions while also trying to function in everyday life.
This perspective strongly shapes how I work with clients. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and flexibility, recognizing that there is no “one right way” to heal or grow. My goal is to help clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they build coping tools, self-understanding, and confidence in navigating their lives.
If you’re someone who has ever felt misunderstood, overstimulated, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Work HistoryMy work as a therapist has been shaped by experience across nonprofit settings, telehealth platforms, and private practice, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of the many ways life stressors can show up.
I began my career working in nonprofit and community-based settings, where I supported individuals and families facing high levels of stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. This work helped me develop a strong foundation in meeting people where they are, especially during overwhelming or uncertain periods.
I later transitioned into telehealth, where I’ve worked extensively with adults navigating anxiety, mood concerns, relationship challenges, life changes, and emotional overwhelm. Providing therapy virtually has allowed me to support clients from the comfort of their own space, and I’ve found that telehealth can feel especially helpful for people balancing busy schedules, caregiving responsibilities, or anxiety around in-person sessions.
Alongside telehealth, I’ve also worked in private practice, which has allowed me to further deepen my focus on individualized care. In this setting, I’ve supported clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal mental health, and navigating transitions related to relationships, work, identity, and family roles.
Across all settings, my approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives. I aim to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make changes at a pace that feels right for you.
