Work HistoryOver the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in different settings that have shaped the way I support teens, young adults, and families today. At Huntsman Mental Health Institute, I worked in an adolescent day treatment program where I gained experience helping young people who were struggling with intense emotions, school challenges, and family stress. I then provided outpatient therapy, where I worked closely with clients one-on-one and with families to build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and process difficult experiences. I’ve also been involved in suicide prevention research, which deepened my understanding of the pressures young people face and the importance of providing safe, supportive spaces to talk about what they’re going through. Along the way, I’ve trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and EMDR, which gives me a variety of tools to meet clients where they are. Each of these experiences has taught me how to help clients manage anxiety and depression, heal from trauma, and build confidence in themselves. My approach is collaborative and supportive—I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be heard, feel safe, and discover new ways to grow.
