Get To Know Me
What should we know about your experiences and background?
I specialize in helping adults navigate complex trauma, dissociation, and nervous system dysregulation. My clinical approach integrates EMDR, IFS, and somatic work to help clients move from "survival mode" to safety. My practice is grounded in cultural humility and affirmative care, providing a space that honors your full lived experience.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My style is deeply relational and human-first. While I use specialized tools like EMDR and IFS, I believe the relationship we build is the foundation of the work. We move at your pace, focusing on how your past shows up in your body today. My goal is to be a steady, compassionate presence as we work to help your nervous system feel integrated and safe in the present moment.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I came to this work through my own healing journey. Having experienced firsthand that trauma recovery is not a straight line, I became a therapist because I know how transformative it is to simply not be alone in that process. I don't see therapy as a place where I "fix" anyone. Instead, it is a space where I walk alongside you, offering the safety and compassion of someone who truly understands the terrain.

Education
Liberty University, Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2023
Work HistoryI have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan in various clinical settings. These early experiences showed me that traditional talk therapy often reaches a limit when the nervous system is stuck in survival mode. This realization led me to pivot my practice toward the deeper, trauma-informed care necessary to help clients truly feel safe in their bodies again.
