I began my professional journey by treating teenagers with substance abuse/trafficking histories in inpatient treatment. I then went on to lead group work with adults diagnosed with schizophrenia. While studying at the University of Central Florida, I was selected to be part of a grant that offered mental health services to underserved communities. I have also worked with college students by offering career counseling and anxiety management services. I love meeting new people and hearing new stories, and have found purpose in guiding people toward solutions that work.
